Real Madrid’s Juvenil A team won their ninth Champions Cup title after defeating Barcelona 4-1 in the final at the Municipal El Val stadium.
The side coached by Álvaro López completed a historic season by becoming the first Spanish team to win the UEFA Youth League, the league title, and the Champions Cup in the same campaign.
Barcelona took the lead through Villar in the 27th minute, but Real Madrid responded with an outstanding second-half performance. Carlos Díez equalized in the 50th minute before Alexis Ciria turned the match around in the 62nd. Yeremiah added a third five minutes later, and Gabri Valero sealed the victory deep into stoppage time.
The comeback victory confirmed another major achievement for the club’s academy generation.
