The departure of Andri Gudjohnsen is imminent. The Castilla striker is reportedly very close to leaving for Sweden and signing with the first division club Norrköping, according to Expressen, a local Swedish media outlet.
The player has already given the move the go-ahead, telling Madrid of his choice after falling out of favor with Real Madrid Castilla over the past year.
In light of this circumstance, Gudjohnsen has made the decision to leave Valdebebas, and the agreement with Norrköping is almost complete. Norrköping is a historic Swedish club with 13 league titles, but has only won once since 1989, in 2015.
He is the son of former Barcelona, Monaco and Chelsea player Eidur Gudjohnsen.
