Carlo Ancelotti has hit back at critics who suggest that he’s reluctant to play Endrick or is struggling with player rotations at Real Madrid.
The coach addressed the issue by saying, "I can rotate certain players, but when I have a squad of 14-15 players… I can rotate very little. And it’s not always ideal to bring certain players in, especially when they are young."
Ancelotti further emphasized, "There’s a lot of talk about Endrick, minutes… blablabla, but I have to consider when to bring players in. It’s not easy. If I have a limited squad, it’s normal to rotate less."
He made it clear that patience is key, stating, "It’s not just him that needs to work, it’s everyone. Endrick is very young and has one of the best strikers in the world ahead of him. We need to be patient. He would like to play more, of course, but he’s not demanding anything. Let him continue his apprenticeship like this."
Endrick, who has only started one game this season, has managed to score two goals and register one assist in 14 appearances so far.
