After the performed tests by Real Madrid medical staff, Adam Hanga has been diagnosed with an injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg, the club officially announced.
During the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, the 33-year-old forward suffered a hamstring injury. He averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 13.0 EFF over the course of just two games for Hungary.
Hanga tried to come back in the Spanish Supercup semifinal but lasted just 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
He will be out for the first few games of the new season. Real Madrid begin their new ACB League season on Wednesday (September 28), while they kick off their EuroLeague season the following week, on October 6.
