This achievement makes him the coach with the most games in the competition for Real Madrid, surpassing Miguel Muñoz's previous record of 71 matches.
Out of these 72 games, Ancelotti has secured 51 victories, along with 9 draws and 12 defeats, making him the Real Madrid manager with the most wins in the tournament. Ancelotti has also led the team to lift the European Cup three times— in 2014, 2022, and 2024.
