Carlo Ancelotti recently discussed Kylian Mbappé's integration into Real Madrid's starting eleven on The Obi One Podcast, hosted by former player Obi Mikel. The Italian manager emphasized the fluidity and adaptability of Mbappé's position within the team's attacking front, rather than assigning him a fixed spot.

"I envision him playing up front with an open attack," Ancelotti said. "Our attack covers 68 meters wide, and we need to utilize that space with our forwards. Honestly, I haven't settled on a specific position for him yet. Integrating Mbappé into the team won't be a problem. It's crucial to remember that each player must contribute their talent and quality to the team's benefit."

Ancelotti highlighted the importance of player mobility in the attack. "It's hard to define where Vinicius played last season. He didn't stick to the left wing. The key to a strong attack is player mobility. Sometimes Vini will be on the left, other times in the center. Bellingham played in various positions, and Rodrygo switched from the right to the left during games. This mobility and creativity with the ball are vital. I want to give my players the freedom to manage game situations. In our first leg against City, we had Rodrygo and Vinicius on the left to exploit that advantage. We're not concerned about where Kylian will play; the focus is on forward mobility."

Ancelotti also shared details about his initial conversation with Mbappé at Valdebebas. "I gave him a warm welcome, as did the fans and Real Madrid. It was exceptional. Then, I asked him to rest and go on holiday because the players had an extremely long season."
