Few managers could appoint their son to work together. However Carlo Ancelotti has been working with Davide Ancelotti for several years now and has no doubt won the trust of the players.

Carlo Ancelotti explained to RAI that working with his son gave him a more honest assistant.

"How is my relationship with my son Davide? Compared to other staff assistants, you are at an advantage. He says things that other people would be afraid or show respect for me before saying. Additionally, I require honesty in my role as a coach.

"I always listen because I have always preferred listening to talking."
