Ancelotti reacts to Guardiola's complaints about the calendar

The calendar continues to generate controversy day after day. Those who rest little complain, and those who rest a lot say that being stopped for so long is not good. In the clubs, they believe that national team breaks are unnecessary. And, meanwhile, the solution, which probably involves asking the footballers, is still pending.

Recently, Guardiola complained because Manchester City's calendar until facing Real Madrid is full. After the game against Arsenal, they will play against Aston Villa on Wednesday and against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Two games before visiting the Bernabéu on Tuesday, while Real Madrid will have 9 days of rest.

After the match against Athletic Club, Ancelotti answered him, and he recognized that the Whites have a small advantage and pointed in the same direction as Pep in terms of match load.

"I see it well; they have a more complicated schedule; it is modern football; it is obvious that we have a small advantage, but it will not affect the match. I really liked the handling of today's match and a little less intensity," he stated in the press room.
