Jesús Vallejo's contract with Real Madrid is set to expire on June 30, and it has been made clear that he will not be renewing it. However, Carlo Ancelotti appears firm in his decision regarding the defender's future.
When asked about the possibility of Vallejo getting more minutes due to the absence of the team's regular center-backs, Ancelotti was direct: "Nothing is happening, he's training well… but his contract is coming to an end, and we want to give the younger players a chance." With these words, it seems unlikely that Vallejo will don the Real Madrid jersey again before his contract expires.
