Carlo Ancelotti remains a central figure at Real Madrid, with his current contract running until 2026. Despite strong offers from both the Brazilian national team and Saudi Arabia, the Italian manager has stayed committed to the club. His decision to remain was bolstered by the successful results of last season, which included winning La Liga and the Champions League, despite a challenging year.

Tomás Roncero of AS reports that Ancelotti is eager to extend his stay at Real Madrid beyond 2026. The club's board considers him the ideal manager for the position, which he has held during his second stint since 2021. If he completes his contract, Ancelotti will have spent five more years with the team, yet he is already eyeing an even longer tenure.

At 65, Ancelotti has won everything there is to win in football. He remains the club's favorite for the manager’s role, particularly when compared to previous failed experiments with Rafa Benitez and Julen Lopetegui. As other potential future candidates lose traction—though Xabi Alonso is a prominent option—Ancelotti's stock continues to rise, ensuring his influence remains strong at Real Madrid.
