Arda Güler is being one of the sensations at the start of Real Madrid's preseason. The young Turk gave an interview to the official Real Madrid media in which he reviewed his objectives in the new stage at the white club and the start of work at Real Madrid City.

"I want to enter the history of this club, I would like to be a legend. This club has won many titles throughout history. I have just seen all the European Cups and I can say that it is an incredible feeling. I have come to Real Madrid, a very important club, to work on and evolve in my game and in my sports career."

Güler does not see his age as a disadvantage. "I remember when Rodrygo, Vini, Camavinga and Valverde came to Real Madrid at the age of 18, just like me. I remember that moment very well. They are very good players and now they will be my teammates."

He is also clear about his references on the pitch. "Some of my idols have been Zidane, Özil or Guti. I've even had the opportunity to play with Özil. I'm an attacking player, capable of scoring goals, giving assists, handling the ball and dribbling."

The Turk believes he has made the correct decision. "Many European clubs have shown great interest, but when Real Madrid, the best team in the world, is interested in you, the decision is clear."
