Vinicius is enduring a difficult start to the season with Real Madrid. After an impressive World Cup in which he was Brazil's standout player, the forward has struggled to reproduce that form at the Santiago Bernabéu. Although he initially continued to contribute goals and assists despite some inconsistent performances, his influence has since declined, raising concerns at the club.
According to El Nacional, Arsenal are preparing to make another attempt to sign Vinicius. The Premier League side are reportedly close to sending representatives to assess the Brazilian's situation at Real Madrid and determine whether he would be open to joining Mikel Arteta's team. If the initial discussions prove encouraging, Arsenal would be prepared to pursue a transfer. However, Real Madrid have not decided to part ways with one of their star players.
Despite recently renewing his contract, Vinicius could consider leaving the club if his situation does not improve. José Mourinho is currently giving him opportunities in the starting lineup in the hope that regular playing time will help him rediscover his best form.
However, the emergence of Yan Diomandé could complicate matters for the Brazilian. The Ivorian is also pushing for a place in the starting eleven, increasing competition for attacking positions. If Vinicius fails to regain his form and finds himself spending more time on the bench, he could begin to consider a future away from the Bernabéu.
