José Luis Martínez-Almeida, the Mayor of Madrid, has commented on Real Madrid's decision to cancel the scheduled concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium due to noise complaints from local residents. The club will not host concerts until at least March 2025, and it has committed to carrying out renovations aimed at reducing noise levels to ensure the well-being of residents in the surrounding areas, such as Paseo de la Castellana, Concha Espina, and Padre Damián.

In an interview with Susanna Griso on Antena 3's Espejo Público, Almeida explained, "The City Council is working on the best possible solution." He emphasized that the Santiago Bernabéu is "a necessary infrastructure" for Madrid, but also noted the importance of balancing its operation with the "priority of ensuring residents' rest."

Almeida expressed gratitude to Real Madrid for their decision to reschedule the events, acknowledging the "economic and reputational" impact on the club. He also stressed the importance of the noise measurements carried out by the city council, stating that without them, "we would not have reached this situation so soon."

Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the President of the Community of Madrid, also expressed support for Real Madrid’s "responsible attitude" in suspending the concerts. Speaking at the ABC Forum, Ayuso praised the fact that the renovations and development projects in Madrid, including those at the Bernabéu, are being financed independently. She hopes the necessary noise-reduction renovations will be completed "as soon as possible," adding, "It is a source of pride to have the best stadium in the world in Madrid."
