This follows a report that the Athletic Club youngster has drawn interest from Real Madrid, with Florentino Perez a particular fan.

They say that Nico Williams would select Real Madrid over Barcelona if he had to choose between the two clubs.

Nico's admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the reporter, is a major factor in his decision to choose Los Blancos.

Despite all the noise surrounding his future, a possible extension at Athletic Club has not been disregarded too.
