Bayern Munich delivered a statement performance that could intimidate any opponent. In their last four encounters against the Spanish giants, Bayern Munich were eliminated each time. Those ties also shared another common outcome, as Real Madrid went on to lift the Champions League trophy in every one of those seasons.

That history serves as a reminder of the challenge ahead. Real Madrid have built a reputation for being almost impossible to defeat on European nights and will aim to prove it once again as they fight for a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
