Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has once again dismissed speculation linking Michael Olise with a move to Real Madrid, insisting the French winger is not for sale.
The rumors surrounding Olise have continued in recent weeks, prompting Hainer to publicly address the situation for a second time. The 24-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding season with Bayern Munich and has also impressed at the World Cup.
In comments reported by Abendzeitung, Hainer made Bayern's position clear.
“As I said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had that in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don't want to sell Michael. As Bayern Munich, we have a very good relationship with Real Madrid, and as a result, they contacted me to say that, firstly, they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise and, secondly, they don't want these constant speculations in the media.”
According to Hainer, Real Madrid have also denied having any contact with the player and have expressed their frustration over the ongoing transfer speculation.
