Yesterday, it’s been a tough day for Jude Bellingham regarding discipline. Earlier, the Competition Authority imposed a two-match suspension for his red card in the game against Osasuna. Later in the evening, Bellingham received a yellow card during Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Manchester City, resulting in a suspension for the first leg of the upcoming round of 16.
His two-match ban in LaLiga means that Bellingham will miss the games against Girona on February 23 and Real Betis at the Benito Villamarín on March 2, unless the club's appeal succeeds.
In the Champions League, Real Madrid’s round of 16 opponent will be determined in Friday's draw. The first leg is scheduled for early March (on March 4 or March 5), with Bellingham suspended for that game.
