Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. have received prizes presented by France Football at the Ballon d'Or gala 2023 at Paris.
The Englishman won the Kopa Trophy, which is awarded to the best U21 player in the world. Bellingham is enjoying a spectacular start to this campaign, having scored 13 goals in his first 13 games as a Madridista. Last season, he was also named the Bundesliga's best player in 2022-23, following his impressive performance for Borussia Dortmund.
Vinicius Jr. was granted the Socrates Award, which honors football players for their outstanding dedication to supporting charitable and social activities. The award was given to the Brazilian forward in recognition of his work with the Instituto Vini Jr., which provides access to high-quality education while using creative teaching methods to fight social inequality in his home country.
