Real Madrid is racing to resolve soundproofing issues at the Santiago Bernabéu after postponing its planned events and concerts due to non-compliance with municipal noise regulations. Since September, the club has been actively working on improving the acoustics of the stadium to resume its commitments as soon as possible. According to reports from Vozpopuli, Real Madrid has already contacted several companies specializing in soundproofing sports venues, including the multinational Arup, to address the issue.

Despite its retractable roof, the Bernabéu is not a completely enclosed space, with gaps in areas such as the upper tiers and vomitories, making it difficult to fully contain sound. The club's advisors believe that one key area for improvement is the vomitories, and they are considering the installation of automatic doors that would open and close as spectators pass through. In case of emergency evacuation, these doors would remain open to avoid congestion.

The issue extends to the stadium’s exterior, especially the sky bar terraces, which are causing significant noise concerns. To address this, the club is exploring advanced solutions, including the possibility of installing a mobile roof to cover the terraces, in an effort to reduce noise levels during concerts. Real Madrid hopes to resolve these challenges soon, allowing it to host events at the iconic venue once again.
