The Santiago Bernabéu has set a new all-time attendance record for a youth football match, with 52,117 spectators watching the U-20 Intercontinental Cup final between Real Madrid and Santiago Wanderers.
The figure surpasses the previous record of 45,656 spectators, set on August 23, 2025, when Flamengo faced Barcelona in the final of the same competition at the Maracanã.
The record-breaking attendance adds another historic moment to Real Madrid’s first U-20 Intercontinental Cup triumph, with the Bernabéu providing a remarkable setting for the final.
