According to reports from Fanatik, Besiktas have identified Raúl Asencio as one of their priority defensive targets for the 2026-27 season.
The Turkish club are reportedly considering an offer of around €20 million in an attempt to convince Real Madrid to sell the defender this summer.
Not long ago, Asencio was viewed internally at Real Madrid as one of the club’s most promising young center-backs, admired for his personality, composure on the ball, and long-term potential. However, the current uncertainty surrounding the squad and the club’s plans for defensive reinforcements have complicated his situation.
At Valdebebas, no final decision has yet been made regarding the defender’s future. Real Madrid are still exploring the market for new center-backs, and additional arrivals could further reduce Asencio’s opportunities with the first team.
For now, the player is awaiting clarity ahead of what is expected to be a decisive summer for his future.
