In a 12-page report for GQ magazine, 19-year-old midfielder Eduardo Camavinga—for whom Real Madrid paid 31 million euros (plus 7 in variables) to Stade Rennes in 2021—displays his most vulnerable side and admits his only weakness.

When Camavinga defined himself as a person, he admitted, "I would only change my right leg: it is very bad."

"I am a person who enjoys life very much and I don't care what others say, only my colleagues and my family. I am the same person as I was three years ago. I am a smart boy who is not going to lose his head for success. I always keep a cool head. I'm a smiling guy," said Eduardo about his personal qualities in GQ.

Camavinga made it clear that "Real Madrid has been my dream since I was little, it's the best club in the world. When they came to sign me, I had no doubt that I wanted to go there".

In his second season at Real Madrid, the French international has acknowledged that "playing for Real Madrid is different, another dimension. When I travel to another country I still think that people won't recognize me, but they do recognize me because the matches of Real Madrid are seen all over the world. It has not been a shock, since I was already used to popularity, but it is another level."

Eduardo Camavinga discussed Toni Kroos and Luka Modric as his two Real Madrid role models: "Modric and Kroos have taught me a lot. Initially, the position they play on the field and their characteristics, but also what they do outside: play sports, take a break... I use these techniques on myself because they are good for me".

The young French midfielder also had kind words for his coach Carlo Ancelotti: "He is regarded as one of the best in the world due to his success in numerous international competitions. He is someone who talks frequently with the players and young people. He gave me some roles when I got there and told me what he expected of me. He always instills me with a lot of confidence whether I am a starter or a substitute".

Camavinga admits that "playing in the World Cup would be a dream" and is not satisfied with the four titles he won with Real Madrid last season: "I am very happy, but now we want more."
