Carlos Alocen returns to play for Real Madrid after almost two years
Source: Marca

Carlos Alocén has played a game again after 651 days. The point guard came into action in the match against MoraBanc Andorra after being out for 21 months due to a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee suffered in a match against Unicaja back on February 13 of last year. With 3.28 left before the end of the first quarter, he replaced Sergio Rodríguez and, finally, achieved his long-awaited return.

It has been an ordeal for the 1.94 meter, 22-year-old point guard, one of the biggest young projects in Spanish basketball, for whom Real Madrid paid Casademont Zaragoza his termination clause in the summer of 2019 (about 150,000 euros) and signed him a contract for five seasons until June 30, 2024. During his long convalescence, they extended their relationship for two more seasons.
