Carlos Sainz recently appeared as a guest on Josep Pedrerol's YouTube show El cafelito, where the Real Madrid fan discussed his potential future involvement with the club. During the interview, Pedrerol directly asked Sainz if he had aspirations to become Real Madrid's president.
Sainz responded, "What I want is for Madrid to win and bring us all joy. I was a candidate at one point, and it was an interesting experience. At that time, I believed I could contribute something to Real Madrid, and I still do. If the opportunity arises and I am available, I would be happy to help Real Madrid remain the best club in the world."
Pedrerol reminded Sainz that Florentino Pérez has been re-elected as president until 2029. Sainz acknowledged this and added, "You can also contribute by being on the board of directors. I’m always willing to help Madrid in any way I can." He went on to praise Pérez, saying, "The European Cups and everything he has achieved speak for themselves. He is the best president Madrid could have."
