Dani Carvajal refuses to consider his season over despite a significant injury sustained in October. The defender, who was named the best right-back in the world last season, is known for his perseverance, dedication, and hard work. While the initial prognosis suggested he might miss the rest of the campaign, Carvajal remains focused on a full recovery, with the Club World Cup as a key target. He has five months ahead of him to make a return.

Following strict medical advice and working closely with his trainers, Carvajal's mindset is one of commitment. He refuses to give up, regardless of the challenges. His recovery from the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, external collateral ligament, and popliteal tendon in his right leg, suffered on October 5, 2024, was expected to take between ten and twelve months. However, Carvajal is determined to return earlier to help his team before the season's scheduled end on July 13.

As doctors often say, "there are no injuries, only injured individuals," meaning that each player's recovery timeline can vary. Carvajal is determined to beat the odds, but it will be his knee, mental strength, medical advice, and the recovery process that ultimately dictate his return. With over a hundred days already behind him, everything is progressing smoothly, though caution remains essential. If anyone can make a remarkable comeback, it's Carvajal, a player who has demonstrated resilience in the past.

Real Madrid has been plagued by anterior cruciate ligament injuries recently, and each player's recovery has been unique. Thibaut Courtois required a second surgery to ensure he was ready for the Champions League final, while Éder Militão returned after just eight months. David Alaba, however, took a full year to recover. Each case varies, but Carvajal remains hopeful of a return this season.
