With his contract set to expire on June 30 next year, Dani Carvajal is beginning to consider what life after Real Madrid might look like. In an interview with FIFA's official media, the veteran right-back shared a glimpse into his thoughts about the future:

"Yes, I’ve already mentioned in an interview that when the day comes—when either the club or I decide not to continue—I’d like to try a different league outside of Europe. MLS is one of the possibilities," Carvajal said.

For now, however, his focus remains firmly on the upcoming Club World Cup. Real Madrid will kick off their campaign on June 18 against Al Hilal, and Carvajal is determined to help the club lift another piece of silverware.

"It’s a new competition—a super World Cup, just as the name suggests. The best teams in the world are involved, and both the club and I are very excited. Mixing styles of football, leagues, and continents makes it something truly special," he noted. "This year, we’ve already played against Pachuca and Salzburg, so we’ve had a taste of what’s to come. Now, we’re eager for that opening match."
