Real Madrid is enjoying a week filled with positive news. Following their qualification for the quarter-finals against Atlético de Madrid, where Daniel Carvajal was seen celebrating with his teammates despite his injury, and the comeback victory over Villarreal, fans have another reason to smile. Today, Carvajal shared an exciting update via his Instagram stories—he’s swapped his trainers for football boots, signaling significant progress in his recovery.
Carvajal suffered one of the worst possible injuries for a player on October 6, 2024. After clearing the ball, he collided with Yeremy Pino, and the image left the Bernabéu in stunned silence. The full-back was visibly in pain and had to be stretchered off the field in tears.
After five long months of recovery, Carvajal is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. While it's unlikely that he'll return this season, the Spaniard is making major strides toward full recovery.
