Dani Carvajal sustained a devastating knee injury during Real Madrid’s recent victory over Villarreal, ruling him out for the entire 2024-25 season.
The right-back suffered a triple fracture in his knee and will require surgery to address the damage before beginning his long road to recovery.
Despite the difficult situation, Carvajal appears to be staying calm and optimistic. He recently shared a picture of himself with his knee in a brace, enjoying some downtime by playing Call of Duty on his computer.
Carvajal’s surgery is scheduled for this week, and his return to the pitch is expected in October 2025 due to the extensive recovery process.
