Dani Carvajal is edging closer to a return to action as he continues his recovery from injury. The Real Madrid right-back has made steady progress in recent weeks, with the FIFA Club World Cup firmly in his sights.
The club recently shared an image of Carvajal training with the ball at Valdebebas, a positive sign that aligns with the latest footage released by the player himself. In the video, Carvajal can be seen engaging in moderate-intensity ball exercises, indicating a promising recovery trajectory.
The 32-year-old has been clear about his goal—being fit for the Club World Cup. Speaking at the recent Laureus Awards, Carvajal confirmed his intention to return in time for the tournament.
Real Madrid will begin their campaign on June 18 against Al Hilal, a date Carvajal has circled as the target for his comeback.
