Real Madrid Castilla will face Manchester United in the quarterfinals of the Premier League International Cup. The match will take place on Tuesday, April 7, at Old Trafford, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM Spanish time.
The team coached by Julián López de Lerma reached the knockout stage after an impressive group phase in which they remained unbeaten.
Castilla finished second in Group A after defeating Wolverhampton (0-1) and Everton (0-2), while drawing against Manchester City (1-1) and Southampton (1-1).
The tournament, organized by the Premier League, is played entirely in England and features under-21 teams from English clubs as well as selected international academies. The knockout rounds, including the semifinals and final, are decided in single-leg matches.
This edition marks the first time Real Madrid Castilla has participated in the competition, making their run to the quarterfinals already a notable achievement.
