Despite a last-minute offer from his previous team Real Betis, Dani Ceballos is almost ready to officially extend his Real Madrid contract.
After the 2022–2023 season, Ceballos asked for time to consider his options since his contract was about to expire.
The Andalucian has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay in Madrid and compete for a spot in Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI despite his role as a backup option in the Italian's plans.
Ceballos' decision to stay in Madrid has not been altered by Jude Bellingham's mega transfer, and despite the opportunity to play a starting position at Betis, he has already made up his mind. He has told Real Madrid he is ready to accept a three year contract offer, and will sign the agreement very soon.
