Early this morning, Dani Ceballos underwent tests to assess the injury he sustained during the match against Real Sociedad. Unfortunately, the results confirmed the player’s initial concerns after his collision with Kubo. Ceballos has suffered a significant injury, and he is expected to be sidelined for approximately two months. This is a major setback for both the midfielder and Carlo Ancelotti, who had found the Andalusian to be a crucial figure in Real Madrid’s midfield. His absence comes at a challenging time, with Jude Bellingham also unavailable due to suspension for the next La Liga and Champions League matches.
Real Madrid released a statement, confirming: "Following the tests carried out today on our player Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the semimembranosus muscle with involvement of the tendon in his left leg. Pending evolution."
