Dani Ceballos has trained with the rest of the Real Madrid squad for the second time this week, a strong sign that he could be available for the clash against Deportivo Alavés. And depending on his progression, there’s even a chance he could be part of the starting XI against Arsenal next Wednesday, when the Champions League quarterfinal returns to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Ferland Mendy’s situation, however, remains uncertain. The French full-back was absent from group training once again and is still undergoing treatment, casting serious doubt on his availability for the crucial second leg.
