While Mbappé's number is the headline, there are other notable changes in the squad's jersey numbers. Camavinga will switch from 12 to 6, which was left free by Nacho. Fede Valverde will take over the number 8 from Toni Kroos, a change that was symbolically marked at Cibeles. Tchouaméni will wear the 14, previously worn by Casemiro. Another rising star, Güler, will move from 24 to 15, previously held by Valverde. Vallejo, returning to the team, will wear 18.
