Chelsea have reportedly set a €120m price tag for midfielder Enzo Fernandez, with Real Madrid keeping a close watch on the situation. The Spanish club was informed of Chelsea’s valuation as they look to bolster their midfield options.
Real Madrid are in need of a player who can control and dictate the tempo of the game, especially with Luka Modric nearing retirement and Aurelien Tchouameni yet to fully establish himself. Fernandez, 23, has long been on Madrid’s radar, with the club attempting to sign him during his time at River Plate and again before his move to Benfica.
Fernandez's current position at Chelsea could pave the way for a transfer. Despite his undeniable talent, he has struggled to secure consistent playing time under coach Enzo Maresca, potentially making a move more likely.
