Thibaut Courtois has unveiled a brick wall tattoo on his arm to commemorate his man-of-the-match performance in the Champions League final.
Real Madrid won their 14th continental title with a 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Stade de France, thanks to an inspired performance from the Belgian international.
Courtois' nine saves in the match were the most in a single Champions League final since at least 2003-04, surpassing Allison (in 2019) and Edwin Van der Sar (in 2011), both of whom had eight.
With the number of saves he made during the season, he also set a new record (59).
It stands to reason that Courtois would want something to remember the final by, and he has chosen a new tattoo, which he has revealed to his 10.5 million Instagram followers.
The design features Courtois' initials and shirt number against a brick wall next to the Champions League trophy.
