Madrid is getting ready to welcome a new name to its collection of exclusive venues. Íñigo Onieva, together with Mabel Hospitality, the company owned by Manuel Campos Guallar and Cristiano Ronaldo, has launched Vega Private Members Club, a private social club aiming to redefine the way people connect and conduct business in the capital. Its opening is scheduled for this autumn at 88 Lagasca Street, right in the heart of the Golden Mile.

Inspired by the tradition of London and New York’s most prestigious clubs, Vega adds a distinctly Madrid touch. It is designed as a sanctuary of privacy where mobile phones and photography are restricted, and where gastronomy, culture, networking, and leisure come together in one refined setting. The 1,000-square-meter space, currently being renovated, occupies the former location of designer Elena Benarroch. It has been reimagined by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, who also created Casa Salesas, the restaurant Onieva opened one year ago. The goal is to craft an elegant and welcoming atmosphere where luxury is expressed through ambiance rather than decoration.

In the spirit of a bustling London district during the day, Vega will serve as an extension of its members’ professional and social routines. Mornings will offer a serene environment ideal for meetings, private workspaces, coworking areas, and even a podcast studio. At night, the venue will transform into a vibrant social hub featuring exclusive dinners and specialty bars, aligning with the lively rhythm of Madrid’s nightlife.

The gastronomic offer is set to be one of Vega’s major attractions. The club will host three dining concepts tailored to different moments of the day: Casa Vega, a modern bistro; Vega Restaurant, the most refined culinary space; and Totó, a tribute to traditional Italian cuisine. Additionally, The Wine Club will feature private cellars and curated wine experiences for connoisseurs.

Membership follows an exclusive and selective process. The most prestigious option, the Founders’ Membership, is available by invitation only and requires a one-time fee of €15,000. It grants lifetime access, priority reservations, and personalized experiences.

For a more accessible plan, the local membership costs €2,400 per year with an initial fee of €2,000. Members under 35 benefit from reduced rates set at €1,500 annually and a €1,000 registration fee. There is also a couples’ membership with an annual fee of €2,000. All memberships can be financed quarterly or monthly during the first year, with added surcharges of 15% and 20%.

The project is backed by Mabel Hospitality, the group behind Tatel, Totó, and Casa Salesas, owned by Campos Guallar and Cristiano Ronaldo. Their ambition is to position Vega among the top elite clubs, competing with institutions like the Club Financiero Génova and the Real Club de la Puerta de Hierro. Vega aims to become the new gathering place for entrepreneurs, executives, and influential figures in Madrid.

Combining design, high-end gastronomy, curated workspaces, and a strict commitment to discretion, Vega Private Members Club seeks to be more than a venue. It aspires to become a symbol of the evolving luxury lifestyle in Madrid.
