Christian Fuchs, a former defender for clubs like Schalke 04 and Leicester City, shared his thoughts with the newspaper AS about David Alaba’s absence: "I saw him at the Euros, celebrating goals from the bench, and I expected to see him here, but Ancelotti told me (Real Madrid had trained for two days at the Charlotte FC facilities) that Alaba stayed in Madrid to recover, as his injury has taken longer than expected. I hope he can return soon."

Alaba is currently training alone at Valdebebas, taking a cautious approach to his recovery: "At this age, it’s crucial not to rush back. You need to be sure that when you return, you’re at your best. Patience is key, even though as a player, you always want to be on the field, in every training session. But you should use this time to improve in every aspect you can—strength, coordination, whatever. Sometimes injuries can make you a better player by forcing you to work on your weaknesses. I believe Alaba will come back stronger," says Fuchs, expressing confidence in Alaba’s eventual return to peak performance.
