David Alaba has returned to group training with Real Madrid after being sidelined for an extended period due to an ACL injury.
As reported by Relevo, Alaba is expected to be back in action for Madrid in January, having fully recovered.
The club is taking a cautious approach and will not rush the Austrian defender back, aiming to avoid any setbacks or relapses.
Having missed most of last season, Alaba's return will feel like a new signing for Real Madrid.
In his absence, Madrid had to rely on makeshift defensive solutions, including using midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in defence, as both Alaba and Eder Militao were injured.
