Deportivo La Coruña continue working on several transfer targets as they prepare for their return to La Liga, with Real Madrid academy midfielder Manuel Ángel remaining one of their priorities.

Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for some time, although progress has been slow. Deportivo are aiming to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent transfer, while talks with Real Madrid remain active in the hope of reaching an agreement.

Manuel Ángel is viewed as a player capable of strengthening the right side of midfield. The Sevilla-born playmaker is known for his ability to contribute in attack and can also operate as a defensive midfielder when required, although it is not his natural position.

The midfielder is under contract with Real Madrid until 2027. If the transfer is completed, the deal is expected to follow the club's usual approach, with Real Madrid receiving a transfer fee while retaining 50 percent of any future sale.
