French coach Didier Deschamps greeted the arriving internationals at Clairefontaine with a light-hearted joke aimed at Kylian Mbappé about his busy schedule.
"Feeling tired? Just a bit? (laughs)," Deschamps teased the French forward.
Now settled in at the national team’s camp, Mbappé took a moment to reflect on his time at Real Madrid: "Things are going well in Madrid. I'm scoring goals, and we're getting good results, but the national team is a whole different challenge. We need to reset and deliver strong performances here too."
