Real Madrid star Dzanan Musa made a bold statement ahead of the new EuroLeague season, declaring his confidence in the team's superiority over Panathinaikos, despite their loss to the Greek side in last season’s EuroLeague final. In an interview with Ricardo Gonzalez from AS, the Bosnian firmly stated, "I believe we're still a better team than Panathinaikos, and we’ll prove it."
Reflecting on the defeat, Musa acknowledged the outcome but emphasized Real Madrid's renewed determination. "They beat us in the final, and we congratulated them. This year, we’re hungrier for titles, and our objective is to win all four trophies."
Musa also shared that he had turned down NBA offers to remain with Real Madrid, emphasizing his desire to stay with a winning team. "I'm very happy in Madrid, and I turned down some NBA offers to stay here, though I've never fully closed that door. However, I wouldn't go just for any reason. I'm a winner, and I play to win," he explained.
