In addition to Real Madrid's struggles on the court and with results, they are now dealing with a series of injuries, including that of Dzanan Musa.

The club announced in a brief statement that the Bosnian player has injured the deltoid ligament in his right ankle, though no timeline for his return has been provided. Musa now joins Andrés Feliz and Usman Garuba, who have also missed several games.

Musa's injury originally occurred on October 20 during a game against Bàsquet Girona, where, after a three-point attempt, his right foot collided with Fjellerup, leading to a foul and three free throws. After completing the third free throw, Musa requested a substitution and didn’t return to the game.

Despite doubts over his fitness, Musa played in subsequent games—against Red Star (17 minutes), BAXI Manresa (16 minutes), and Olympiacos (25 minutes). However, he was sidelined in Belgrade against Maccabi, even though he was listed to play.

While the club hasn't provided an official recovery timeframe, some experts estimate that the recovery period for a sprained deltoid ligament can range between 4 and 6 weeks, which is likely the time Musa will be out of action.
