Endrick made history by becoming the youngest Real Madrid player to score in the European Cup with his goal that sealed the victory against Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Brazilian set the new record at 18 years and 58 days, surpassing Raúl's previous milestone of 18 years and 113 days, which was set in 1995 against Ferencváros. This remarkable achievement highlights Endrick's bright future and adds to Real Madrid's rich legacy of nurturing young talent on the biggest stage.
After the match, Endrick said: "I am very happy with my debut and my first Champions League goal in my career. In La Liga I think I was one of the youngest to score for Madrid and today too, but that doesn’t matter. The important thing is to help the team."
"I came on as a right winger and in the first play I passed to Vinicius, but he couldn’t score. And in the second I had Mbappé and Vinicius, but the best option was to shoot. When I was about to enter the field, Rüdiger told me to be ready to score the goal. The whole team is happy with the first victory in the Champions League and it is a joy to be in this group."
Endrick, who joined Real Madrid this summer from Palmeiras, has quickly made an impact by scoring two goals early in his career with the club.
