On Wednesday, Real Madrid secured their first title of the season, defeating Atalanta 2-0 to lift the European Super Cup. It was a particularly special night for Kylian Mbappé, who made a dream debut by scoring in his first official match for Los Blancos. However, while Mbappé started his Madrid career in the best possible way, another of the club’s new signings, Endrick, did not get any minutes on the pitch and will have to wait for his official debut.
Despite not featuring in the final, the young Brazilian striker has quickly integrated into the squad. His adaptation has been made easier thanks to the presence of his compatriots and friends Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Militao. Endrick has also developed a good rapport with Jude Bellingham, who playfully teased him on social media after the Super Cup victory, repeatedly calling him "Bobby."
This nickname stems from an interview Endrick gave after scoring for Brazil at Wembley during a 2023 friendly, where he expressed his admiration for English football legend Sir Bobby Charlton. "I'm really happy to have scored. I'm a big fan of Bobby Charlton, who played many games at this stadium; he's English and scored a lot of goals. I'm grateful to have played here," Endrick said at the time.
With such a promising start to the season for Real Madrid, Endrick will surely be eager to make his own impact soon and add to the growing excitement surrounding the team.
