Enrique Riquelme's presidential campaign has announced another major appointment, confirming Fernando Hierro as the proposed new director of La Fábrica should the candidate win the Real Madrid elections.
The announcement was made through a video published on social media and follows the recent confirmation of Raúl González Blanco as Riquelme's choice for sporting director.
With the election campaign gathering momentum, more names are beginning to emerge as both sides present their projects for the club's future.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Riquelme's campaign highlighted Hierro's role in strengthening Real Madrid's youth academy.
"La Fábrica needs more than just talent . It needs leadership, high standards, and a true Madridista spirit. Fernando Hierro joins as Director of La Fábrica to help build a youth academy with structure, values, and the ambition to succeed at the first team level . We continue to recover the identity that made Real Madrid great. And we continue building the Madrid of the future."
The appointment is being presented as a key part of Riquelme's vision for developing young talent and reinforcing the club's traditional values.
