Enzo Fernández shared a message on his Instagram story on Friday, just hours after Real Madrid released an official statement denying reports linking the club with a move for the Argentine midfielder.
The post, accompanied by a pointing hand emoji and a white heart, featured a verse from Psalms 145:17-18: "My God, you always keep your promises and do everything with love. You are always near to those who call on you with sincerity."
The message also came just hours before Argentina's 2026 World Cup match against Cape Verde, scheduled for 00:00, with a place in the round of 16 at stake.
The Chelsea midfielder has recently been linked with Real Madrid, with reports suggesting he fits the club's profile and is expected to leave the London side following their elimination from European competitions. Chelsea are reportedly aware of Enzo's desire to move, and Real Madrid have been mentioned among the clubs interested in signing him.
Although the meaning of his social media post remains open to interpretation, some have viewed it as a possible hint regarding his future and a potential move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
