In recent days, speculation has intensified over a possible move to Tottenham. Reports suggest the London club tabled a staggering €70 million offer to secure the 20-year-old’s signature. Thomas Frank sees him as a key reinforcement for Spurs’ attacking needs. Yet Como rejected the bid, providing Real Madrid with some relief, as the club maintains a clear long-term plan for the player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Madrid are thrilled with Nico Paz’s growth in Italy and have already decided to exercise their buy-back clause in 2026. They consider it premature to bring him back now, preferring for him to gain another season of experience under Fàbregas’s guidance.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid remain determined not to lose control over Nico Paz’s future. Romano also revealed that Los Blancos were prepared to trigger their buy-back option immediately if Spurs had managed to reach an agreement with Como.
