4,000 euros and a one-year ban from sporting events. It is the ruling of the Permanent Commission against the season ticket holder from Mallorca who uttered racist insults to Vinicius (during the Mallorca-Real Madrid game on February 5). A 20-year-old man who insulted someone again 13 days later was located after extensive work by the police and investigative services. The police were the ones who opened the case right away and suggested a punishment: 3,000 euros and a six-month ban from entering sporting venues. However, the Commission has increased this fine to 4,000 euros and doubled the "veto."
The decision is applauded by Mallorca who was the first to issue a statement condemning the events, publicly expressing shame that a fan of theirs had done so and offering to help locate him. At Real Madrid, the verdict has also been highly applauded. An exemplary sanction for who, deplorably, shouted: "Vinicius, monkey" and "Vinicius you are a monkey".
