Borussia Dortmund's star player, Jude Bellingham is reportedly close to a deal with Real Madrid as more information about the operation comes to light.

After the Kylian Mbappe controversy last year, Florentino Perez will not let another global superstar escape their grasp. Early this week, there were rumors coming out of Madrid that a deal was imminent. The difference between the two clubs now appears to be the number of variables.

Bellingham will receive a six-year contract that runs through 2029 with a €1 billion release clause. After only Eden Hazard, who makes the most money at the club, his wage will be in the second rung of the salary scale.

The English midfielder is expected to be one of Real Madrid's midfield's long-term solutions as they replace Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. After that, Los Blancos will probably start planning how to permanently replace Karim Benzema next summer.
